In the middle of diverse gardens and nature. Peace and relaxation. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather so we couldn't use the beautiful garden and pool. The older couple in the house with the apartment on the ground floor were very friendly and tried to help us with our stay and our concerns. Communication was hardly possible because we didn't speak the local language and couldn't get any further with English. But we got the most important thing done. Fresh eggs from the chickens were a very generous gift.
The apartment needed a basic cleaning, especially the bathrooms. The bathroom accessories are unsightly and uncleaned to rusty. The toilet flushed constantly and the toilet seat usually slipped to the side. The drains in the shower were blocked and no pipe cleaner could help. Since it was cold during the rainy days, we froze. The air conditioning for heating in the living room could not be turned on and the heating was turned on for three days out of two weeks. We made arrangements, but didn't really feel comfortable. Two of us got sick. So we couldn't enjoy the sun for the third week. We left three days early; if it hadn't been for the flight on Thursday, I would have left even earlier.
